It can be frustrating when you see a diagram or infographic you like in a PowerPoint presentation, so you copy it, then when you paste it into a new presentation, all the colors are different. The short answer is that the 2 presentations have different themes. Anything you paste into a presentation will default to the existing color theme. Here is how to bypass that and have your pasted content keep it’s original colors.
How to keep the original design colors when you copy an infographic to a new slide or presentation.
1. In PowerPoint, highlight the original design and copy it.
2. go to the new slide or presentation you want this design to be added.
3. On the Home tab, click the down arrow under Paste and choose keep source formatting
